I own a 06 f250 sd, and everytime i hit a small bump in the road when doing 65+ speed i get extreme shaking. I got a letter from ford recently about the shimmy thing, and i tried what they said and adjusted the tire pressure but i found this does not work i still get it. It said in the letter that you all approved this but i don't see how you could let such and unsafe thing still be on the roads. *tr

It got a little worse than there was a scraping noise than boom and the tread flies out from the right of the truck. I pulled off onto the shoulder and got out and could…

I called the dealer and they told me to get under the truck and hit the tire with a sledgehammer. This has to be very dangerous, particularly since the truck was raised up on a jack. According to the ford dealer this is a very common problem with ford trucks. I believe that this is a very hazardous situation…
