The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The dealer stated that the tire was twenty years old and needed to be replaced. The manufacturer was notified and referred the contact back to the dealer. The failure mileage on the tire was 41,930.

On 7/19/01 i found a bubble on the rear driver side tire. The bubble was approximately 8_x0014_ long. When the tire was removed from the rim the bubble also extended inside the rim. On 7/21/01 i was looking at the other tires and found cracks forming on the side walls on the other three.
